WAR & POWER
WAR & POWER is a Bookbuzz executive learning programme based on selected passages from Robert Greene’s The 33 Strategies of War and The 48 Laws of Power. Greene claims that to survive the business battleground, you must master the art of manipulation and misdirection: “If I could simplify the whole game of power and strategy in one equation, it would all hinge on the capacity to see events around you exactly as they are.”

The 33 Strategies of War is a guide to the subtle social game of everyday life, with examples of strategies followed by Napoleon, Alexander the Great, Margaret Thatcher, and others. Greene claims that military combat is a fitting metaphor for getting ahead in life.

The 48 Laws of Power is a manual on one-upmanship. Greene claims that certain actions always increase our power, while others decrease it and even ruin us. Greene uses anecdotes from notable historical figures such as Bismarck, Kissinger and Mao Zedong.
